Good product images sell products, but producing them is slow and costly when every angle, background and size has to be shot or edited by hand. IREO by Gismo Studio® is our in-house tool for packshot rendering: it turns a 3D model into clean, consistent product images made for your online store.

What is IREO?

IREO stands for Image Rendering & E-commerce Optimization. It is built by Gismo Studio® for our own 3D production work, and our tagline says what it is for: Render Better. Optimize Smarter. Sell Online.

Instead of photographing a product again and again, IREO renders it from a 3D file, which makes packshot rendering fast to repeat for every new product. The result is a set of packshots with the same lighting, framing and quality across your whole catalogue.

Why packshot rendering matters for online stores

Marketplaces and shoppers both expect clear, uniform product images. A clean white background, a well-lit product and the right angles make listings easier to scan and easier to trust. When photos come from different shoots, different lighting and different editors, a catalogue quickly starts to look uneven.

Packshot rendering solves this by producing every image from the same 3D model and the same setup. Nothing changes between products except the product itself, so your store looks consistent from the first listing to the last.

Lighting and material control

Every product reads differently under different light. IREO lets you pick a lighting preset such as pure white, soft grey, neutral, warm luxury, dark premium or warm room, then fine-tune brightness, shadow softness and the floor shadow.

Materials can be adjusted too. Colour, metallic, roughness and other properties can be tuned so the render matches the real product, whether it is brushed wood, painted metal or fabric.

How the IREO process works

Send us your 3D model or a product image. If you only have an image, our team can build the 3D model first.

2. We generate the image

We render your product in IREO as per your requirement: the platform, the angles, the lighting and the background you need.

3. Deliver

You receive the final images, ready to upload to your store or marketplace.
